Questions about the Course
[UPDATE: Registration for Grant Writing Fundamentals 2022 is now closed. If you'd like to get on the waitlist for 2023, you can sign up here!]
Hi, colleagues:
I talked about how my Grant Writing Fundamentals course can help you gain control over your scholarly career.
Enroll here if you’re ready to join us this summer.
But you may have some questions! Here are answers to common questions.
It's so hard to get funded now. Can you guarantee I'll get funded after this course? No one can guarantee funding. If someone tells you they can, walk away fast! But I can guarantee that the skills and exercises in our course will make a difference in your chances of being funded. These skills are based on my experiences securing funding from NSF, NIH, and more, as well as my interviews with 100 grant writing experts from diverse disciplines.
Do I need to have a grant idea already or a target funder? No! I'm going to show you how to develop winning ideas and how to find the funders that will love your ideas. These are important grant writing skills.
What if I can't make one of the three group coaching sessions (July 13, 20, and 27 from 11am-12pm EDT)? No worries! I will email detailed notes after each coaching call. You can also post your questions in our Slack community or send them to me via email. I want to make sure you get all of your questions answered.
How long will it take me to finish the course? The course is designed to run four weeks (from July 6 - 27). But it's also self-paced and meant to show you the fastest way to develop your grant writing skills. So feel free to work faster if that suits your goals! You will have access to all of the video lessons, exercises, and our community Slack channel as soon as the course opens on July 6.
If you don’t see the answer to your question, send me an email at [email protected]. See you inside the course!
Betty
